Family Involvement and Education

We value family involvement at Infinite Recovery, whether it’s educating your loved ones, helping you strengthen relationships with family members, or connecting families with resources they need to overcome their own challenges while processing your recovery. Through family therapy and family dynamics therapy, we make sure you and your loved ones are supported throughout your healing journey.

Long-Term Recovery and Aftercare

Aftercare planning, alumni support, and relapse prevention help sustain trauma recovery beyond treatment. While in treatment, we work with you to determine which programs, services, or resources best meet your long-term needs. We equip you with everything you need to transition out of trauma treatment smoothly and with confidence.

Evidence-Based and Holistic Modalities

Infinite Recovery implements comprehensive care into your trauma treatment plan, which includes a combination of evidence-based and holistic care. Our multitude of therapies address more than just mental health conditions, allowing you to develop key life skills, social skills, and healthy coping mechanisms to help you heal all areas of wellness. Clinical trauma therapies are supported by wellness-focused practices that strengthen emotional regulation and sense of self.

Inclusive and Affirming Environment

We aim to make our treatment center a supportive environment for all, promoting personal growth and healing without external stressors. Infinite Recovery welcomes diverse identities, including LGBTQ+ clients, with culturally responsive trauma care.

Evidence-Based Trauma Therapy Modalities

Our trauma program integrates evidence-based clinical therapies with holistic practices to address both the emotional impact of trauma and its connection to substance use. Each modality is selected based on individual clinical needs and long-term recovery goals.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

CBT and DBT help reshape thought patterns, manage flashbacks, and build coping strategies.

In CBT, you work with a therapist to identify emotions and thought patterns that contribute to your decision-making. As you grow in therapy, you learn to develop new perspectives on experiences, not allowing your emotions to take over your choices. In turn, it minimizes harmful or destructive behaviors.

DBT is rooted in CBT, but is catered toward clients in need of emotional regulation. Clients with severe mental health disorders or a dual diagnosis may be better suited for DBT. This psychotherapy helps you identify problematic behavior and encourages implementing healthy habits and coping mechanisms instead.

EMDR and Trauma Processing

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) supports the safe processing of traumatic memories and distressing symptoms. This is a type of psychotherapy that reprocesses your traumatic memories and emotions connected to them with guided eye movements and stimulation. EMDR helps reduce the emotional toll traumatic experiences have on you.

Exposure Therapy and Talk Therapy

Trauma-focused psychotherapy and exposure therapy help clients safely confront and integrate traumatic experiences. This helps take power away from a traumatic experience that brought out intense, negative feelings, thoughts, or reactions. You learn through exposure therapy and talk therapy not to associate danger or fear with those memories.

Psychiatry and Medication Support

Other evidence-based services we provide include psychiatry services and medication management. These are available when appropriate to support trauma-related mental health symptoms.

Daily Life in Trauma Treatment

Structure creates safety. Each day combines individual therapy, group work, skill-building, and wellness practices to help clients regulate emotions, process trauma, and strengthen recovery habits.

Individual and Group Therapy

A balance of individual therapy and group therapy encourages insight, connection, and shared healing. It’s important to have one-on-one time with your therapist and treatment team, focusing all of your attention and energy on your personal healing journey, growth, and goals.

However, group therapy is also essential in mental health treatment as it helps clients avoid self-isolation. In group therapy, you don’t feel alone when overcoming trauma. A group of peers connects you with others who share experiences or feelings, and together you develop relationships, enhance social and communication skills, and build a support network.

Coping Strategies and Emotional Regulation

Through holistic therapies, clients build practical coping strategies to manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), emotional triggers, and stress responses during trauma treatment. This includes mindfulness practices, creative expression, and physical activity.

In evidence-based therapies, clients also learn how to healthily address their feelings and talk through their emotions and thoughts without acting impulsively.

Trauma and PTSD Symptoms

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma disorders are treated at Infinite Recovery. Flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, hypervigilance, and other symptoms related to a traumatic event are signs that you could benefit from mental health treatment and recovery.

Complex Trauma and Mental Health Disorders

Infinite Recovery offers a variety of treatments and therapies catered to your individual needs. Aftercare and Continued Support

While in treatment, we work with you to develop a post-treatment plan. Ongoing care options and alumni programming help maintain progress after formal treatment ends. This might look like outpatient services or connecting with our alumni group to stay connected to our staff and your peers.
