How Professional Intervention Works

A professionally led intervention is key to starting the healing process right. It works by bringing in a professional alcohol and drug interventionist to aid in addressing your loved one about their harmful behaviors. Interventions are dynamic and used to address a host of issues ranging from substance abuse, untreated disorders, gambling addictions, gaming addictions, internet addiction, sex addiction, or other process addictions. The interventionists Infinite Recovery uses specialize in substance abuse disorders. This has shown to be key in helping to get the right placement for those suffering from addiction.

Infinite Recovery’s alcohol and drug interventionists are extensively trained in Continuing Care with Intervention approach. We use this model because of its high success rates and integrated active family support during the process. Great interventions are dynamic. The model relies on this by creating a proactive and gentle approach to addressing your loved ones addiction without traditional shocks, surprises, or threats. Your loved one is addressed with understanding while providing clear consequences if they are unwilling to engage with help.

Why Intervention Works

Every case we’ve helped is unique. If your loved one is unwilling to accept help or acknowledge their disease, an intervention will help start the journey to healing. Please understand that your loved one is resisting help up till now for a host of reasons. These range from being unable to accept they are sick in the first place, worrying about legal repercussions if they admit to using, or putting work and relationships ahead of healing. An intervention is a proactive way to bring your loved one into the treatment process. This works by inviting them to actively engage in their own recovery. An intervention helps them address their concerns and resolve fears so they can begin recovery in the right direction.
