Infinite Recovery supports adults navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns through compassionate, personalized care. Based in Austin, Texas, our full continuum of treatment – from detox and inpatient stabilization to long-term recovery support – helps clients build emotional stability, strengthen family connections, and maintain lasting wellness.
Traditional evidence-based therapies used for mental health and addiction treatment include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
In CBT, clients with depression acknowledge their thoughts, feelings, and emotions while not allowing them to take over their well-being or behaviors. With your therapist, you express your past experiences to figure out ways to overcome unhelpful feelings and behaviors. Rather than your emotions and thoughts spiraling out of control, you learn to respond in healthy ways.
DBT uses CBT philosophies while catering to those experiencing extreme emotions. For those with severe depression, DBT validates your feelings and encourages you to have compassion for yourself and be gentle with yourself. It’s a new way of navigating emotions while helping sort out unhelpful behaviors.
We prioritize the eight dimensions of wellness in your mental health and substance use journeys. Behavioral health encompasses all areas of your life, including your physical, emotional, social, and financial health, and everything in between.
At Infinite Recovery, we offer holistic modalities that help you strengthen your connection between your mind and body. By fostering a deeper understanding of yourself and regaining control over your habits, you can start to improve your overall quality of life.
Sometimes, when coping with depression, medication can be helpful alongside psychiatry. A licensed mental health professional can determine what FDA-approved medication and dosage can ease symptoms of depression, while not developing a dependence on or addiction to the substances.
Throughout your recovery journey, we implement relapse prevention strategies that you learn to lean on in times of need.
When overcoming mental health complications, you might feel prone to self-medicate with addictive substances. If you come to us at Infinite Recovery with co-occurring disorders, we can implement a unique treatment plan that addresses all of your needs.
Relapse prevention strategies are also helpful for those coping with mental health disorders without addiction also present. These strategies are used to navigate overwhelming feelings, situations, or triggers so that you don’t fall back on unhelpful behaviors. For clients coping with suicidal thoughts/ideation or self-harm, these strategies can promote helpful behaviors and mechanisms.
When treating mental health or addiction, it is important to develop a structure that promotes stability and consistency in the healing process. From there, you can build on your growth without feeling overwhelmed. With a structure and guide in depression treatment, you have more opportunities for self-discovery and mental-emotional growth.
In your individualized treatment plan, we offer a combination of individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Individual therapy allows you and your therapist to develop a safe, trusting relationship in which you discuss your progress and goals in treatment. These sessions help:
Group therapy is not only beneficial for strengthening social skills, such as listening and healthy communication, but also helps you develop supportive relationships.
When coping with mental health disorders, like depression, it is not uncommon for clients to self-isolate. Group support and therapy help you find a community you can trust and be vulnerable with. You develop a sense of belonging with your peers and learn from each other on how to lead a healthy life.
Your loved ones have a place in mental health treatment. Alongside our family program, we offer family dynamics therapy. This service is a holistic, compassionate approach to therapy that values mutual understanding and relationship healing. Together as a family unit, you uncover and work through patterns and habits that might be unhealthy or unhelpful. You practice setting boundaries, healthy communication, and personal growth to support one another.
If you are struggling with depression, early diagnosis and treatment can help stop complications from growing. When symptoms of depression become overwhelming or interfere with your daily life, it’s important to find treatment and therapy that works for you. If you find that you’re thinking of using or are using substances/alcohol to cope, take that step forward in finding treatment.
TMS is a non-invasive neurostimulation that is FDA-approved. It can be used to help those with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic pain, or depression. For the treatment of depression, TMS targets regions of your brain to improve depression symptoms and improve overall mood.
CBT and DBT are common psychotherapies in mental health and addiction treatment. We use CBT practices in our individual, group, and family therapy sessions. CBT may also be useful in holistic therapies to support you as you acknowledge and accept your feelings, redirecting that energy into a healthy coping mechanism instead.
Part of family therapy is learning about the mental health disorder or addiction at hand. When your loved ones understand what you’re coping with, it’s easier for them to support you in ways that you need. You learn how to set boundaries with one another, learn more about what you and your loved ones need in this process, and grow as a family.
Consistent support is important for us at Infinite Recovery. Alumni support is one way we encourage this. With alumni, you can participate in events, develop connections with others who are healing from mental health and addiction, and stay connected to resources here at Infinite Recovery.
Aftercare support is important to us. Alongside our alumni program, aftercare can include referrals to outpatient services, access to in-person or virtual therapy, and staying connected to our staff if you are ever in need of help in your journey.
At Infinite Recovery, we value you as a person. With your personal treatment team, we learn about your unique needs and value 1:1 care. On top of individualized, compassionate treatment, we value comprehensive treatment that targets underlying conditions or causes of mental illness/addiction. This allows for sustainable mental health growth.
Mental health treatment is different for everyone. Some clients may not need to have 24/7 supervision in our residential treatment program, while others may need more hands-on, in-person support. Regardless of your needs, our treatment programs typically last for:
Medication management does not have to be part of your treatment at Infinite Recovery. When we create your individualized treatment plan, we will decide what services, programs, and treatments will work best for your needs. Not every client benefits from or needs the same services.
Consistency is key in mental health recovery. When some medications or therapies don’t help, it’s important to express your struggles in order to find different things that can assist you. At Infinite Recovery, your personalized treatment team and plan ensure you receive the most effective treatment possible at all times. So, if certain therapies or medications didn’t work before, we can still help guide you in a direction that can.
Yes, and family involvement is highly encouraged through our family program. When you know what’s going on in your loved one’s journey, you can be a stable, present, and supportive figure for them. It’s important to overcome any challenging emotions or thoughts as a family in order to be there for your loved one.
Our extended care programs include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and various outpatient services we can connect you with or make a referral to. This ensures that you continue growing in your mental health journey with consistent support to keep you on track.
When mental health or addiction interferes with your daily life, it is recommended to find treatment. Treatment for depression helps you turn to a new page in your life, opening doors to new opportunities mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially, among other areas.
