Medically Supervised Detoxification

Infinite Recovery’s medically supervised detox in Austin, Texas, helps clients overcome physical dependence on prescription drugs. We use tapering as a method of slowly reducing substance use for certain medications, such as Xanax and other benzodiazepines. Other medications, such as Suboxone, may be used to ease withdrawal symptoms from other medications such as oxycodone and other opioids.

02
Personalized Treatment Plans

Infinite Recovery is unique compared to other addiction treatment centers; our dedication to your individual recovery journey is unparalleled. Personalized treatment plans are curated based on your substance use history, mental health complications, and other personal background, such as trauma.

Relapse Prevention & Aftercare Planning

Throughout addiction treatment, we implement relapse prevention strategies so you feel confident turning to and using healthy coping mechanisms on your own in post-treatment life. We also offer personalized aftercare planning to help you transition back into your day-to-day with the right tools without feeling overwhelmed. It is important that your transition after treatment is as smooth as possible.

What to Expect During Prescription Drug Detox & Inpatient Treatment

Infinite Recovery’s prescription drug treatment begins with a medically supervised detox that eases the transition into residential inpatient treatment. These two stages of treatment build a stable, structured routine rooted in sobriety.

Detox (5–10 Days)

During detox, clients are medically supervised to assist with withdrawal symptoms and avoid relapse. We taper medications, such as Ativan, during this phase of treatment to help ease the transition to sobriety and build a stable foundation in recovery. Infinite Recovery’s medically-supervised detox also includes psychiatric and medical evaluations to help monitor you and curate your individualized treatment plan moving forward.

Inpatient Phase

During residential inpatient treatment, clients engage in a variety of therapies, including both group and individual sessions. We offer behavioral therapies and trauma-informed therapies to best match your needs in recovery. In group sessions, we also implement 12-Step integration, helping clients with acceptance, perseverance, and inner change. We treat each client on a case-by-case basis so their treatment is catered towards their needs.

Evenings & Weekends

At Infinite Recovery, our structured prescription drug addiction treatment program also implements routine in the evenings and on the weekends to help maintain consistency. In the evening, clients engage in reflection and peer connection, emphasizing personal growth and recovery at all times of the day. On weekends, we provide family services, such as our monthly workshops, therapies, and educational opportunities. We value family involvement and helping all family members process and heal from the addiction present in their loved one’s life.

Our treatment center is also equipped to help those with co-occurring mental health conditions, polysubstance use, and alcohol addiction when combined with prescription drug abuse.

When to Seek Help for Prescription Drug Addiction

When struggling with prescription drug misuse, Infinite Recovery is here to help you and your loved ones heal. If you notice you or a loved one taking more than the prescribed dose, requiring higher doses for the same effects, experiencing cravings or withdrawal symptoms between doses or when stopping use, hiding medication, failing to quit use, declining mental health, or visiting multiple doctors for overlapping prescriptions (also known as doctor shopping), addiction treatment might be the best path.

Addiction recovery does not have to be lonely, stressful, or overwhelming. Here at Infinite Recovery, we offer a safe, supportive space dedicated to your personal growth and sobriety. Long-lasting recovery is possible with the right support.

Extended Support for Long-Term Recovery

Recovery doesn’t stop after you leave our treatment center. We have personalized aftercare planning available, including an alumni program, to help keep you on the right track post-treatment. Aftercare may also include enrolling in one of our continuous step-down care programs, like our intensive outpatient program (IOP) or partial hospitalization program (PHP).

To assist with the transition back into your daily life, we offer job placement support and case management that helps with short-term disability. For families looking to support their loved ones, we offer guidance for interventions as well during the admissions phase, before detox. It is important to us at Infinite Recovery that you and your families are equipped with the right tools before, during, and after addiction treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does prescription drug rehab last?

Prescription drug addiction rehab starts with a 5-10 day medically-supervised detox. A 4-6 month structured treatment plan is recommended for our full continuum of care for long-lasting addiction recovery results.

Do you provide medical detox in Austin?

Yes, Infinite Recovery’s medical detox in Austin, Texas, is supervised and on-site. It is a safe space for clients to begin their treatment and recovery journey, building a foundation in sobriety without quitting prescription drug use cold turkey.

Is medication-assisted treatment offered?

Infinite Recovery does not consider itself a medication-assisted treatment center. However, medications are used during detox and stabilization when clinically necessary, and typically are only used during this phase of treatment. We will evaluate clients on a case-by-case basis to determine if medication-assisted treatment and longer-term medication use are necessary for their long-term healing and success.

Dual diagnosis treatment is necessary to sustain sobriety and recovery long-term, addressing the root cause of addiction at times.

What happens after inpatient treatment?

After inpatient or residential treatment, we curate a personalized aftercare plan that may include intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, or other outpatient services to support clients’ transitions back into their daily lives. We also offer an alumni program to keep clients connected to a stable, recovery-focused community.
