Our Texas Residential Treatment Center at The Ranch

Some services offered at Infinite Recovery include:

  • High-end environment
  • Therapeutic setting
  • Shared living with optional private rooms
  • Chef-prepared meals
  • Amenities that support recovery

Our Texas residential treatment center is located on a beautiful and serene 40-acre ranch in Buda. This high-end environment provides a therapeutic setting for clients to foster a deep connection with the natural world. It allows them to build relationships with one another and embark on a journey of self-discovery away from the pressures and triggers of addiction.

Choosing an inpatient rehab facility in the countryside offers immense benefits. The serene setting promotes a sense of calm, aiding the healing process. Being in nature helps reduce stress and anxiety. It also supports emotional regulation during early recovery.

All this is possible while you are nurtured by our caring and devoted staff members. We offer treatment tailored to each person in a safe environment. Our inpatient residential treatment program includes shared living with optional private rooms. There are separate areas for male and female clients. This setup allows everyone to focus on their goal: staying sober.

One of our greatest values is our clients’ comfort, safety, and support. Our residential treatment center has an on-site doctor who can provide 24/7 care. We also provide chef-prepared meals and other amenities to help clients feel at home while focusing on their healing. This dedication to safety and medical oversight allows our clients to put their full attention on what matters: their goals for lasting recovery.

At Infinite Recovery, our residential treatment center sits on a peaceful Texas ranch where clients can step away from outside stressors and focus fully on healing. The privacy of the countryside provides a quiet environment for reflection, personal growth, overall wellness, and connection with others in recovery.

What Substance Use and Mental Health Conditions We Treat

Our residential treatment center is equipped to treat substance use disorder and addiction, as well as their common co-occurring disorders. We understand that drug addiction does not occur on its own. For the most part, it’s a response to pain and unresolved trauma. Sometimes it’s also a response to deeper mental health disorders. Other times, addiction can lead to mental health issues. This is why we specialize in helping individuals overcome addiction while treating any co-occurring mental health disorders simultaneously.

Your treatment provider at Infinite Recovery will focus on the underlying causes of your substance use disorder, as well as the addiction itself. That way, our treatment programs provide you with the tools necessary for long-term, lasting recovery.

Some examples of addictions we treat at Infinite Recovery include:

  • Opioid and prescription drug addiction
  • Heroin and fentanyl addiction
  • Alcohol addiction
  • Benzodiazepine addiction
  • Stimulant addiction, like cocaine, crack, MDMA, and methamphetamine
  • And much more

Some examples of co-occurring mental health disorders we address alongside addiction include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Borderline personality disorder (BPD)
  • Schizophrenic disorders
  • And much more

We are primarily an addiction treatment program. We do not treat mental health conditions on their own, but rather treat the co-occurring mental health issues that appear alongside addiction.

Remember that no addiction or mental health disorder is too “big” for treatment. Our staff at Infinite Recovery is waiting to help you or a loved one get the treatment you need. All it takes is reaching out for help and being willing to accept it.

Our Residential Treatment Program Structure

Our inpatient residential treatment in Texas is offered after completion of medical detox. Extensions are available for clients who meet clinical criteria and medical necessity guidelines. Our residential treatment program gives you 24/7 support, medical oversight, and a structured therapeutic schedule that allows you to focus on your treatment. Inpatient care continues to be one of the most effective forms of substance abuse treatment, helping you develop the life skills and coping skills needed to live a life free of substances.

Inpatient residential treatment allows you to achieve stabilization before stepping down into the next level of care like a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or other forms of outpatient treatment. Our inpatient program is part of our continuum of care approach, giving our clients the support they need to transition into other forms of care with minimal delays or stress.

The Role of Family in Addiction Recovery

We believe that family support and involving your loved ones in the recovery process is extremely important. This is why we offer family therapy and family education to help rebuild lines of communication, set strong boundaries, and learn to support one another through this transformational time. We also provide virtual family support, so no matter where your loved ones may be, they can still be involved in your recovery journey.

A Full Continuum of Care After Residential Treatment

Detoxification and residential addiction treatment (inpatient) programs are some of the first steps people take towards recovery. But addiction recovery is a journey of many steps, and there’s more to recovery than those two treatment programs alone.

That’s why our drug and alcohol rehab center offers a multi-step, full levels of care approach to substance abuse, addiction, and mental health treatment. After inpatient residential treatment, clients can step down into outpatient treatment.

Our outpatient programs include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that offers the structure and support of inpatient treatment, without staying on-site. After the PHP, the next level of care is our Austin intensive outpatient program (IOP). This program also provides structured support, but with a smaller schedule.

Each level of care provides a seamless transition back to your daily life, equipped with the tools, healthy coping mechanisms, and necessary life skills training for lasting recovery.

Every treatment plan includes aftercare, which provides post-treatment services to keep supporting our clients. Aftercare is an optimal form of relapse prevention as it keeps clients connected and on the path to lasting recovery. Infinite Recovery also offers an alumni and sober living program, as well as other outpatient treatment options so you never have to go through your recovery journey alone.

What Daily Life Looks Like in Residential Treatment

When you are in inpatient residential treatment, you live in a dorm located on the treatment campus. Each day can look different for everyone because they are completely tailored to your individual treatment plan, needs, and goals. The day will consist of you undergoing various treatments and therapies, including group therapy.

Throughout the day, there will be times for meals prepared by our in-house chef. You will also have time to relax with recreational activities, holistic modalities, and outings. If you need medical healthcare, time will be taken out of the day to meet with your provider to ensure that your recovery is going well.

A careful balance of treatment and downtime is important to prevent burnout and frustration.

When to Consider Inpatient Addiction Treatment

If you or a loved one is considering inpatient residential addiction treatment, it’s important to understand the signs that treatment may be needed. They include:

  • Repeated relapse or the inability to stop using substances
  • Physical dependence or dangerous withdrawal symptoms
  • Worsening mental health issues like anxiety or depression
  • Failed attempts at outpatient treatment

It’s important to note that if you have made attempts at treatment before, this doesn’t mean that you have failed. Inpatient care is one of the most effective forms of treatment because it enables you to get away from outside pressure and stressors so you can focus fully on your recovery with the proper medical and therapeutic support. No matter where you may be in your journey, there is always hope for successful treatment.

FAQ

What am I allowed to bring to inpatient residential treatment?

You don’t need to bring much into our residential treatment program, as we will provide essentials while you are here. However, we do recommend that you bring these items along with you for the best possible experience:

  • One to two weeks of comfortable clothing suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, including loungewear, recreational clothing, pajamas, workout clothes, and robes
  • Additional weather-appropriate clothing, such as a bathing suit in the summer or a jacket in the winter
  • Alcohol-free toiletries, such as dental floss, toothbrush, facial care, deodorant, makeup, and more
  • Any prescription medications you need in their original containers
  • Insurance cards and ID
  • Every day jewelry, such as a wedding ring or watch, and although we provide storage lockers, we firmly advise that you leave valuables at home
  • Pictures of loved ones, items of spiritual or religious value, and meditation books

To reduce clutter, we ask that you limit what you bring to what fits in up to two suitcases weighing up to 50lbs each. Once you have begun the admissions process, your counselor will give you a more detailed list of what you can bring and what you should leave at home. This includes whether you have a computer or phone, as our team will help determine if they will help or hinder your healing process.

If you have further questions, we are more than happy to answer them.

How long can I expect to remain in inpatient treatment?

The typical stay for someone in our inpatient residential treatment program is around 30 days, but can be extended up to 90 days if needed. Some people will take longer to stabilize before moving into outpatient care, and that’s okay. We encourage our clients not to view treatment as a race, but as part of their recovery journey.

Can I talk to my loved ones while in treatment?

We believe that friends, family, and other loved ones are important for recovery. However, we may put a brief restriction on outside communication at the beginning of treatment to better help you acclimate. Once treatment is underway, you will be able to contact your loved ones.

To further repair relationships damaged by addiction, we also provide couples counseling and family therapy.

Do you offer private rooms?

Private rooms are not commonly offered during inpatient treatment. However, we are prepared to provide accommodations for special cases. If you believe that you have needs that require the use of a private room, please let admissions know as soon as possible.

Can I smoke or vape while in inpatient treatment?

We do not encourage the use of smoking or vaping. However, we will support your recovery while using tobacco. If you want to smoke or vape, please talk to admissions. They will instruct you on how to bring unopened products or juices (for vaping), which we can review before you enter treatment.
