Brett Miller

PROGRAM THERAPIST

Brett obtained his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University. He strongly believes that the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the client is one of the most important factors in therapy success.
Brett enjoys working with clients to increase mindfulness, (re)build confidence and self-esteem, and learn how to manage symptoms of depression and anxiety. Brett is especially passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, progressing client’s through stages of change, and developing harm reduction strategies for alcohol and other drug relapse prevention.
In his free time, Brett loves spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, reading, hiking, traveling, visiting museums, and playing Pokémon Go.
